The Irish Film and Television Academy has announced its shortlist of nominees in the Animation, Short Film and Feature Documentary categories (but we only care about the first two, right?), which have been narrowed down by two rounds of Jury voting. Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony taking place April 5.
The Best Animation contenders are Jam Media’s Tilly and Friends and three Brown Bag Films productions: Doc McStuffins, Henry Hugglemonster and The Octonauts. The Best Short category includes both live-action and animated films: The Last Days of Peter Bergman (Fastnet Films), The Missing Scarf (Belly Creative), Rubai (Magamedia) and SLR (Stigma Films).
