Technicolor Appoints Digital Execs

Technicolor appointed two new digital entertainment executives, with Tim Sarnoff named president of production services and Claude Gagnon taking on the role of senior VP content solutions and industry relations.

Sarnoff’s group will integrates creative services and digital productions and will represent all visual effects, post production, animation, and digital cinema distribution worldwide.

“I’m excited for the expanded role and opportunity to lead an organization which is world-renowned for its creative talent, standards-setting technology and operational excellence. By aligning our services to offer a more holistic approach, we are creating efficiencies that will better serve the needs of our customers,” said Sarnoff.

Gagnon will lead Technicolor’s technology initiatives in support of the creative community and consumer electronic licensees in the areas of color science, high dynamic range and sound.

“We will continue to drive the development of solutions that create new digital experiences for our customers,” said Gagnon.
