The Hub Network has launched its first-ever app featuring exclusive games, full episodes and video shorts, as well as a fun “photo booth” activity. The app is available for free for iPad and iPhone and is accessible through the iTunes App Store. Additionally, Hub has a new and enhance website: hubnetwork.com, which features tablet-forward design, games, more videos and a new customizable feature called “Family Hub” which lets kids and families customize their online experience and submit their own artwork, photos and videos which could air on TV.
The Hub Network app is loaded with content featuring fan-favorite shows and characters. The photo booth activity lets users get their pictures “photo bombed” by their favorite characters. And the My Codes exclusive service lets app users watch their favorite shows on air to receive special codes that unlock stickers to use in the photo booth. The app also features full episodes and shorts from the network’s hit series My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop and Transformers Prime. Coming soon will be customizable calendar reminders with which users can set alerts to remind them not to miss new episodes of their favorite shows.
The revamped website’s new “Family Hub” feature (in addition to more games and videos) enables kids and families to not only share their fan-created content, but allows users to challenge each other to games, share scores and compete against each other. Registered users can also add avatars and backgrounds from their top shows and select “Favorites” to get updated information about the shows and additional content they like most.
