Asian Animation Summit Coming to Hanoi

Organizers have announced that the third annual Asian Animation Summit is scheduled for December 3-5 in Hanoi, Vietnam’s five-star Sofitel Plaza hotel. Around 250-300 attendees are expected this year, primarily animation producers interested in Asian partners and broadcasters, distributors and investors from the region.

The event will feature presentations of 24 brand new projects from Asia and Australia seeking financing and partners. Morning panels will explore new market trends, business models and creative techniques for the informational benefit of regional producers.

AAS 2014 is an initiative of Korea’s KOCCA, Malaysia’s MDeC and Thailand’s SIPA and DITP; the Summit is owned and produced by Kidscreen and supported by Screen Australia.
