Move over, cynically commercialized Hallmark Holidays, there’s a new celebration in town. Cartoon Network is launching a brand new tradition with Uncle Grandpa Day on Thursday, August 21 starting at 9 a.m. ET/PT. Throughout the day, families can cozy up and enjoy every single adventure of Uncle Grandpa, Pizza Steve, Giant Realistic Flying Tiger and the rest of UG’s pals as they RV around the world solving problems with positivity.
Following the marathon, feast your eyes on new episodes of Teen Titans Go!, Steven Universe and The Amazing World of Gumball, starting at 6 p.m. Then at 7:30, it’s back to the festivities with two brand-new Uncle Grandpa episodes, “1992 Called” and “Bezt Friends,” featuring special guest voice actor Tone Loc. The premiere episodes will see UG travel through time to retrieve a pair of pants, and blast off to outer space to find his best friend. You know. Standard Uncle Grandpa Day festivities.
