New Writers Join ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ Team

SLR Productions will be kicking off production of season two of its acclaimed preschool animated series Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare with new writers joining the key creative team. Signing on are Rachel Spratt, Cleon Prineas, Charlotte Hamlyn and John Armstrong. They join returning creatives Jo Boag (creative director), Melanie Alexander (script producer), two-time Australian Writers’ Guild AWGIE award-winner David Evans, AWGIE nominees Jane Schneider and Lisa Hoppe, David Witt and Tammy Burnstock.

The second season was recently announced, with German kids’ channel KIKA as a co-production partner and with support from Hessischer Rundfunk of ARD as well as Australia’s ABC4Kids. The newly commissioned episodes are exclusive to ABC4Kids; 9 Story Entertainment is handling international distribution. The series is based on the popular children’s book Guess How Much I Love You written by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram (The Walker Books Group).
