VIZ Media will be bringing a shiny new remastered treasure to North American fans of the iconic anime series Sailor Moon. The Limited Edition Season 1, Set 1 Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and DVD releases, which both feature the first ever uncut collection of episodes, will be available November 11.
The show’s complete re-master is augmented by a brand new English voice cast. Both the Standard Edition DVD ($44.82) and Limited Edition Blu-ray ($79.98) set contain 23 episodes and a wealth of bonus features wrapped up in premium packaging. Viewers can choose to watch in English dub or in Japanese with subtitles in either format. The Limited Edition is bundled with an 88-page, full-color booklet filled with artwork, character profiles, an episode guide, theme lyrics and more.
Limited Edition bonus features include video art gallery, original series trailers, a “signs and songs” subtitle track, all-new behind the scenes footage of the English dub sessions and special convention panel footage. The Standard Edition contains all these minus the video art gallery.
