Disney’s all new short Frozen Fever, which reunites the CG stars of its Oscar winning feature, will open in theaters in front of the studio’s live-action fairy-tale Cinderella on March 13, 2015.
Directed by Frozen‘s Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and produced by Peter Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner, the short sees Elsa and Kristoff trying to plan a fantastic birthday celebration for Anna — but Elsa’s icy powers put a wrench in the works. Frozen Fever will also feature an all-new song from Oscar winning team Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“Let It Go”).
Cinderalla stars Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden, Stellan Skarsgard, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi and Helena Bonham Carter. Kenneth Branagh directs from a screenplay by Chris Weitz. Disney also released new character posters for the film, check them out:
