Leading production-based Autodesk training programs producer 3D Training Institute has announced that senior VFX, animation and digital media executive Stan Szymanski will be the inaugural speaker featured in its new webinar series, How to Land Your Dream Job in 3D, which kicks off January 21 at 11 a.m. PT. Szymanski will draw from his over 30 years of experience in talent acquisitions, artist management, production and studio operations to share tips with viewers on how to begin and build a successful career.
Following 14 years as SVP of Creative Resources & Digital Production for Sony Imageworks, Szymanski founded StanleyVision in 2009 and now works as an organizational consultant, educator, resource strategist, headhunter and recruiter for leading VFX and animation studios including Technicolor, MPC, Digital Domain, Framestore, Method Studios, Reel FX, Universal Creative and The Mill — to name a few.
The Jan. 21 webinar will also feature Autodesk Senior Education Program Manager Ron Richard, who will describe the company’s recent decision to make Autodesk software available without charge to students, teachers and educational institutions. And Scott Hamilton, Vertical Market Strategist – Media & Entertainment, will provide information on Dell’s specialty hardware options for 3D artists.
