FuseFX has snapped up two-time Emmy nominated Visual Effects Supervisor Jon Massey, whose credits include HBO’s True Blood. His first assignment at the L.A.-area studio will be Turn, AMC’s Revolutionary War series, now in its second season. Massey brings over 10 years of experience as a vfx supervisor and producer, as well as expertise in pre-production visual effects design and planning, on-set supervision and production.
Massey arrives from Zoic Studios, where he served as vfx supe for nearly a decade. His work there included seven seasons of True Blood, as well as Angel and Over There. He earned Emmy nods for his work on the pilots for Hemlock Grove and The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He began his entertainment production career as a camera assistant, and made the jump to effects work at 525 Post Production, Hollywood.
