The Jim Henson Company has licensed the CG-animated preschool series Doozers to leading media partners around the world. Additionally, licensing agents have been appointed in key global markets.
The company has partnered with France Télévisions (France), RTVE for Clan (Spain), Dreamia (Portugal), and AMC Networks International for Canal Panda (Spain); and has also signed with German home video distribution company Polyband, which will distribute Doozers DVDs in German-language markets.
In New Zealand, Doozers will air on TV New Zealand, and has been licensed to MediaCorp (Malaysia and Singapore) for its Okto Channel. In Israel, children’s channel HOP! will be the new home of Doozers, while in the Middle East, the series will be available on Radio Television Brunei and on Emirates Cable TV & Multimedia LLC’s E-Junior (UAE).
The company also has appointed consumer products licensing agencies for the brand, including Biplano (France, Spain and Portugal), Active Merchandising International (Germany), Distefano Licensing (Italy), and The Fusion Agency (Australia).
The Doozers series is a co-production of The Jim Henson Company and DHX Media.
