Disney-Pixar’s latest short film, Lava, will be available to watch exclusively on the Disney Movies Anywhere app for iOS during a two-week window starting today (July 30 through August 12, 2015). The short is currently running in theaters ahead of the studio’s feature release, Inside Out.
Written and directed by James Ford Murphy — a veteran animator who has worked at the studio since A Bug’s Life days — Lava is is a musical love story inspired by the isolated beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes.
Disney Movies Anywhere is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch through the iTunes App Store.
