Rainbow has announced that its global hit animated series Winx Club will arrive on the air in South Africa this month through a deal with ETV, one of the country’s leading free-to-air channels. ETV will broadcast Winx Club seasons five and six, and the July launch is accompanied by a broad marketing campaign across TV, press and digital media.
ETV is also running a competition in partnership with Rainbow that will see a few lucky fans winning exclusive Winx dolls, which are coming to shelves in South Africa starting in November. Winx Club will be available in the country through the OpenView HD platform on the eToons+ channel.
