MAXON has announced Cinema 4D Release 17, scheduled to ship in September for Mac OS X and Windows systems. This milestone release of the company’s cornerstone 3D animation, graphics, VFX, visualization and rendering software will be previewed at SIGGRAPH 2015 in L.A. (Aug. 11-13).
Key highlights of R17 include a new Take System or scene management, Lens Distortion Support for video and photos, Graph View for Motion Tracker, new Spline Tools, Animation Workflow enhancements, Sculpting improvements, Houdini Engine integration and SketchUp integration.
