Corus Entertainment announces the launch of the latest apps in its suite of kids services rolling out this year: YTVGo and NickGO. The two newcomers join TreehouseGO, which had a successful debut in June. These apps, available at no additional charge to YTV and Nickelodeon subscribers through iTunes and Google Play in Canada, let kids and families access the live network streams as well as on-demand episodes.
YTVGo features fan-favorite series including popular toons SpongeBob SquarePants and Fairly OddParents. Content will be refreshed monthly and new series will be added in line with network series premieres. NickGO gives kids the chance to explore hit shows including the animated series Rabbids Invasion and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Corus’ apps are built with You.i Engine software, developed by Ottawa startup You.i TV. The apps are also supported by technologies from the Platform, Adobe Primetime, Penthera, Akamai and Elemental.
