Actor Wilmer Valderrama has been cast in the lead male role in Charming, an animated musical comedy feature film from 3QU Media.
He joins Demi Lovato, who will also executive produce the film’s music score, as the female lead Lenore; Avril Lavigne as Snow White; Ashley Tisdale as Cinderella, and G.E.M. as Sleeping Beauty.
Produced by John H. Williams, and written and directed by Ross Venokur, Charming is a 3QU Media Production of a Vanguard Animation film in association with WV Enterprises. SC Films International is handling foreign sales. Production is underway at Cinesite’s (Edge of Tomorrow, World War Z and Harry Potter) new animation studio in Montreal.
The company was formed in 2014 to create family friendly CG-animated films for global audiences and has offices in Los Angeles, Greenwich, CT and Montreal.
Valderrama currently stars in Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series for the El Rey Network and in in Steven Spielberg’s new Minority Report series, which premieres Sept. 21 on Fox.
