The Animago Award & Conference event has wrapped in Germany and organizers have released the list of projects honored at a special event Thursday evening at the Metropolis Hall at Filmpark Potsdam-Babelsberg. Notably, a Ringling College of Art and Design student project took the Best Short Film prize: None of That, directed by Isabela Littger, Anna Hinds Paddock and Kriti Kaur.
A total of 1,008 projects from 58 countries were submitted to the competition to be judged by an independent jury of experts in film, post-production, industry visualization, science and education, which initially nominated 45 projects in 10 categories. None of That won out in the Short category over Knights Quest (Red Star 3D, Great Britain), Shift by Cecilia Pugliesi and Yijun Liu (NYC School of Visual Arts, U.S.), Bloody Sunday (Studio Produkcyjne ORKA, Poland) and Dissonance by Till Nowak (frameboX, Germany).
