Studio 100 Media has secured TV agreements which will bring two of its animated properties to Finland. Nelonen Media, part of Sanoma Media Finland, has picked up exclusive rights to the revamped Nils Holgersson (52 x 13) and new CGI adventure/comedy The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill (52 x 11). Both series are currently in production and set for delivery by 2017.
Nils Holgersson is a CG animated retelling of the novel by Swedish author Selma Lagerlof, produced by Studio 100 Animation in Paris. Likewise, The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill aims to reinvigorate the iconic Australian children’s character created by author Dorothy Wall with new CG outback adventures, produced by Flying Bark Productions.
