Entertainment One (eOne) and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have entered a multi-territory home entertainment agreement, which will also see the launch of a joint venture in Canada. The companies have long had a home entertainment distribution arrangement for Australia and Spain.
The expanded partnership will see Fox managing sales and distribution for DVD and Blu-ray for eOne film, TV and family entertainment titles in the U.K., Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Australia. Fox will also manage marketing and sales activities for eOne’s Peppa Pig physical home entertainment products in the U.S.
In Canada, the new joint venture will handle home entertainment releases for 20th Century Fox titles, with an inaugural lineup including The Peanuts Movie and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip as well as live-action hits The Hateful Eight and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
