Portfolio Entertainment has secured a raft of new sales for animated preschool series, Doki. Much of the distributor’s deals for the show have come from season one broadcasters coming back for more.
Discovery Family in the Middle East, Africa and Greece has picked up season two (26 x 30) and three Doki half-hour specials. KiKa in Germany and Hakka TV in Taiwan opted for the same package, as did Canada’s TVO (Ontario) and Knowledge Network (British Columbia).
Doki follows its little dog hero and his five friends as they travel the world and explore distant lands and cultures, while satisfying the questions of inquisitive preschoolers.
