Toronto-based Bejuba! Entertainment has sold original kids’ animated series Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave to a number of international broadcasters. Now in production on its second season, the show is commissioned by Sprout and is created by Collingwood and Co. in co-production with Sprout and Sparky Animation.
New buyers for Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave include Canal+ Piwi in France; TVO, TFO and Knowledge Network/BBCKids in CAnada; YLE Finland; BBCWW in Latin America and Asia; and Chellozone/Jim Jam in Netherlands, Benelux, Eastern Europe, Portugal and Scandinavia. The show has previously been picked up by CBeebies.
The CG-animated preschool series follows an enthusiastic puppy named Ruff-Ruff, a curious chick named Tweet and a lovable panda named Dave. Together they go on adventures with Hatty the hamster, who always has a question for her friends who eventually work out the answer with the help of their young viewers at home.
