The Google ATAP oyster has cracked open to let out a little shimmer from Patrick Osborne’s buzzed-about Spotlight Stories project, Pearl. A new trailer has launched online, just ahead of the world premiere of the animated interactive experience’s 2D theatrical version at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival. From the director of the Oscar and Annie Award-winning Disney short Feast, Pearl is both a narrative and a 360-degree interactive experience soon to be available on Android and iOS. Set inside the beloved hatchback that serves as their home, Pearl follows a girl and her dad as they crisscross the country chasing their dreams. It is a story about the gifts we hand down and their power to carry love, and finding grace in the unlikeliest of places.
