AmebaTV has inked a deal with Ireland’s Monster Entertainment that will bring an extensive selection of its internationally popular animated kids’ content to the streaming platform. The agreement will provide AmebaTV with some 150 episodes from Monster’s library.
Among the notable animated series coming to the North American on-demand service are international productions including non-dialog offerings like Gazoon (France, Sparx Animation/TF1), Hullabalooba (Finland, Studio Outo), Pikkuli (Finland, Sun In Eye Prod.) and slapstick comedy Outopus (Costa Rica, Rocket Cartoons); and Rocka-Bye Island (Ireland, Magpie6 Media/Monster).
“Monster Entertainment has expanded our catalog in a big way bringing a mixture of internationally loved programs,” noted Tony Havelka, President, AmebaTV. “Their shows are very popular with our audience. Kids love these unique, high quality, and extremely entertaining shows and come back to watch them over and over again.”
