DreamWorks Animation and distribution partner 20th Century Fox have released a shiny new trailer for Trolls — the musical, CG-animated update on the classic toy brand coming to theaters November 4. The spot sets up the conflict of personalities between gritty survivalist Branch and bubbly optimist Poppy before taking your eyeballs and earholes on a careening, technicolor tour through their vibrant world — complete with dangerous creatures, strange characters and irresistible beats.
Directed by Mike Mitchell, co-directed by Walt Dohrn and produced by Gina Shay (all Shrek Forever After alums), Trolls stars Anna Kendrick as Poppy and Justin Timberlake as Branch, with Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, Icona Pop, Ron Funches, Kunal Nayyar, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Christine Baranski, John Cleese, Meg DeAngelis and GloZell Green.
