German brand management and media company m4e AG is partnering with leading Chinese animation distributor WeKids Asia to introduce preschool series Wissper and Tip the Mouse to the local market. WeKids has picked up rights to distribute the show across TV and VOD, and handle licensing and merchandising throughout Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
“We are excited to be granted the opportunity to bring these delightful and whimsical properties to the children and families of Greater China,” said WeKids founder and CEO Sean Chu. “Both Wissper and Tip the Mouse have all the characteristics that Chinese audiences love: adorable characters, high‐quality animation, simple but engaging stories, and most important to Chinese parents, positive social and emotional messaging that is developmentally appropriate to preschoolers.”
