Award-winning Berlin art, design and production studio Zeitguised — which has delivered acclaimed work for clients like Absolut, IBM, Mercedes-Benz, Nike and Samsung — is taking a major step into the advertising industry by opening a dedicated commercial studio, Foam.
“Foam is the opportunity to let our passion for strong imagery drive commercial projects, utilizing the dynamic structures and renowned innovative strength of Zeitguised,” says company founder Henrik Mauler. “Contrary to an artistic endeavour, commercial projects are by definition goal oriented, time and budget driven and need to accommodate diverse demands. This requires a whole different way of working. As a consequence, the studio developed highly efficient techniques and processes to deliver outstanding design work for brands and products.”
Foam, operating a separate “layer” to Zeitguised, collects creatives, designers and producers under one roof to develop concepts, visual stories, and direct CG image and film content. Zeitguised will continue to function as an incubator, working with clients on an artistic level, while Foam applies the studio’s experience to a traditional commercial production structure.
