Cartoon Network is sending fans of sugar, spice and everything nice a special Valentine’s Day treat with the release of The Powerpuff Girls: Tiara Trouble on February 14, 2017. The DVD packs in 12 girl-powered episodes of the Emmy-nominated toon hit, with an SRP of $14.97.
The revamp of the classic CN series is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, with Nick Jennings (Adventure Time, SpongeBob SquarePants) serving as executive producer and Bob Boyle (Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) as co-executive producer. The series stars Amanda Leighton (The Fosters) as Blossom, Natalie Palamides as Buttercup, and Kristen Li as Bubbles.
Highlights of Tiara Trouble include Emmy-nominated episode “Once Upon a Townsville” and “Viral Spiral,” the series’ highest-rated episode to-date.
The dozen 11-minute episodes included in the set are: “Man Up,” “Escape-Monster Island,” “Princess Buttercup,” “The Stayover,” “Bubbles of the Opera,” ‘Painbow 2,” “Tiara Trouble,” “Viral Spiral,” “Horn Sweet Horn!,” “Strong Armed,” “Little Octi Lost” and “Man Up 2: Still Man-ing.”
