The second edition of GLAS Animation Festival is gearing up for its March 2-5 run in Berkeley, California. With the goal of expanding the scope of animation by bringing new voices, talents and themes to the US scene, the event highlights fresh perspectives in independent animation as well as curated programs on some of animation history’s most significant periods.
The organizers have revealed some of the special guests slated for the 2017 fest: Brad Bird, Peter Burr, Mathieu Labaye, Lei Lei, Amy Lockhart, Ana Ramirez, Chris Robinson, Georges Schwizgebel, Madeline Sharafian and Masaaki Yuasa. More information on featured guests, official selection, workshops, installations and special programs is to come.
