Studio 100 Media has inked a number of deals that will bring its new CG series The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill (52 x 12) even further beyond the Outback. New Nordic partners include kids’ public broadcaster NRK Super (Norway) and SF Studios for home entertainment and VOD rights.
The series had previously been acquired by SVT Barnkanalen, which will begin airing it in Sweden this summer; and by Nelonen Media in Finland.
“We are pleased about the ongoing collaboration with our long term partners Nelonen Media, NRK Super and SVT Barnkanalen as well as SF Studios,” said Martin Krieger, Head of Global Distribution at Studio 100 Media. “All these channels and distributors are already home to other Studio 100 animation and live action shows such as Maya the Bee, Heidi, Tashi or Kosmoo and Nightwatch. Our team is confident that the Australian icon Blinky Bill will sweep the Nordics off their feet in this witty and cheeky CGI version.”
