VIZ Media is heading into the Japanese pop-culture mega-event Anime Expo 2017 with a full slate of activities and con exclusives featuring some of its most popular titles. The largest dedicated anime and manga fan convention in North America will take place July 1-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (anime-expo.org), where you can find VIZ on the main floor at Booth #2206.
As previously announced, Food Wars! manga co-creator Yuto Tsukuda will be in attendance as a Guest of Honor, appearing in several panels and autograph sessions (for more information: anime-expo.org/how-to-get-an-autograph) through the weekend. Panels will also cover Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sailor Moon, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Weekly Shonen Jump.
Meanwhile, the booth will once again host a must-shop retail section, where you can bundle off your purchases in an exclusive, limited edition tote featuring Sailor Moon, Shonen Jump (with One-Punch Man and Boruto) or Pokémon theme. Read on for details.
