Toy Story Land to Open at Walt Disney World Resort in Summer 2018
Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek set the opening date for Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ new 11-acre zone. Two attractions will feature: family coaster Slinky Dog Dash and play set-inspired Alien Swirling Saucers, in which aliens are flying around trying to capture your rocket with “The Claw!”
61st BFI London Film Festival Program Announced
Nora Twomey’s The Breadwinner will make its European Premiere in the official feature competition. Loving Vincent will have its UK Premiere, broadcast live from the National Gallery with special Q&A. Animated titles running in the Family program include The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales (Benjamin Renner), Big Fish & Begonia (Xuan Liang, Chun Zhang), Ivan Tsarevitch and the Changing Princess (Michel Ocelot), Lyana (Aaron & Amanda Kopp) and Lu Over the Wall (Masaaki Yuasa), plus shorts. The fest runs October 4-15.
