International content producer, distributor and channel operator Blue Ant Media announced Thursday its new animation studio, Look Mom! Productions. Based in Toronto, the unit will be dedicated to producing compelling, creator-driven animated content for kids 6-11, teens and adults 18-34 under appointed Creative Director, Joshua Bowen who joined Blue Ant in 2013 as supervising producer on the digital cartoon comedy shorts series Bite on Mondo.

Look Mom! Prod. is launching with two action-comedies kids’ series in active development, which will be showcased at MIP Junior and MIPCOM in a search for co-producers. Blue Ant and Look Mom! can be found on the show floor at Stand #R8.D7.

Toy Hunters (Kids 6-11, 26 x 11 min.) follows two brothers who move to Smalls Hollow after their grandfather leaves their parents his mansion as an inheritance. After meeting Bob Munson, owner of Munson’s Toys and Collectibles, and his daughter Kaylee, the boys learn that their eccentric grandfather led a secret life traveling the world hunting down haunted toys.
Cloudface (Kids 6-11, 26 x 11 min.) is about a quirky character who desperately wants to be a person with his dapper suits and desire to help others, but is more like a big kid with his fun-loving ways and short attention span. While fiercely loyal to his friends, he often forgets to honor commitments and will drop whatever he’s doing in the moment if something shinier catches his eye.
