Cartoons on the Bay 2018 Open to Submissions

Italy’s popular animation festival Cartoons on the Bay has officially launched its 2018 website and is now accepting submissions for its 22nd edition, which takes place April 12to 14 in the city of Turin. Now described as the International Cross-Media Animation and Children’s Television Festival, the event as also added a new VR Cartoons category.

TV animation industry professionals are invited to submit their projects on the website www.cartoonsbay.rai.it under the Submission category. The event, which is sponsored by Italian pubcaster Rai TV and Rai.com, comprises five thematic areas: the Pulcinella Awards Competition for animated projects from around the world, the Pitch Me! Contest for young Italian artist, professional program with international guests, Kids School Program for younger attendees and the Open Exhibition featuring shows, retrospectives and previews of top-notch animated content.
