Spain-based Imira Entertainment is landing in Mexico this week with nine new series on offer to buyers at MIP Cancun (www.mipcancun.com). The kids & family content distributor already boasts a 55-title catalog for Latin America and US Hispanic markets, comprising 1,600 half-hours already dubbed into neutral Spanish, and 50 series (1,200 half-hours) dubbed into Portuguese.
Fresh titles available at the market include:
BabyRiki (104 x 5’), a preschool edutainment series that mixes 3D CGI and live action from FUN Union
KikoRiki (216 x 6’30” & 52 x 11’) which captures the lives of the BabyRiki characters as they grow up
PinCode (104 x 13’) an edutainment comedy targeted at primary school children, which explores the principles of science in a fun and adventurous way, also from FUN Union
Zelly Go (104 x 1’30”) a non-dialogue comedy from Giggle garage which was recently snapped-up by Viacom for its Nickelodeon channels in a more than 150 multi-territory deal
Darwin & Newts (40 x 11’) the science and imagination educational adventure from the Toonz Media Group and WhiteBait Media
Cam & Leon (117 x 3’ & 39 x 7’) Giggle Garage’s comedy about two pet chameleons let loose and on a mission to survive
Smighties (78 x 7’) a fantastical adventure about some small and mighty heroes from a magical land co-produced by Toonz and Herotainment
Sindbad and the 7 Galaxies (26 x 11’), a space comedy adventure with an environmental protection twist, co-produced between Toonz and Creative Media Partners
Badanamu Cadets (52 x 11’) new adventure-driven series from Calm Island, which is based on the preschool educational YouTube phenomenon, but aimed at a slightly higher target
