The latest installment of Disney Junior’s Nursery Rhyme Collection of shorts launches on DisneyNOW tonight, but the stars are coming out early with this first look at “Twinkle, Twinkle,” featuring star of the upcoming Muppet Babies reboot Baby Kermit and other favorite characters! (You’ll be seeing more of the li’l frog when the new CG-animated series premieres this spring.)
“Twinkle, Twinkle” sees Mickey Mouse host a celestial symphony with his Disney Junior pals Kion (The Lion Guard), Kermit (Muppet Babies), Sofia (Sofia the First), Doc McStuffins and Lambie, Miles (Miles from Tomorrowland), Bingo and Rolly (Puppy Dog Pals), Goldie and Bear, and Minnie. These favorite characters frolic among the stars to the gentle tune of the classic nursery rhyme, performed by Rob Cantor.
Disney Junior’s Nursery Rhyme Collection debuted in September 2017 and has since amassed more than 80 million views and over 90 million minutes watched on the Disney Junior YouTube page. The collection combines treasured nursery rhymes like “Old MacDonald” and “Rock-A-Bye Baby” with characters from favorite Disney Junior series like Doc McStuffins, Mickey and the Roadster Racers and more. New shorts roll out starting this Friday, Jan. 12.
