Digital classic cartoon and all-new animation destination Boomerang will be streaming a world premiere movie on Thursday, February 15 with Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Inspired by the classic Roald Dahl story, the 2D adventure follows Tom and Jerry as they tour the magical Wonka factory, thanks to their new friend Charlie Bucket and his Golden Ticket.
Boomerang has shared a tasty sample clip with us, which you can check out below! The clip shows Tom and Jerry meeting their very first Oompa Loompa — or at least a mouse who wants to be an Oompa Loompa — who leads them into the legendary, all-edible Chocolate Room.
The new movie is just one of the sweet treats that have arrive on the streaming service in time for Valentine’s Day. These include holiday specials The Flintstones: I Yabba Dabba Do, My Smurfy Valentine, New Looney Tunes “Love Is in the Hare/Valentine’s Dayffy,” The Tom & Jerry Show “Return to Sender,” and the sleuthing series The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries.
