Russian animation prodco Riki Group has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes video on the making of its latest feature film, Kikoriki: Deja Vu, which will bring more uplifting laughs and crazy adventure to screens when it premieres theatrically in Russia on April 26.
Deja Vu is the third installment of the Kikoriki feature franchise, which follows the adventures of the internationally popular ball-shaped animal characters. The latest film scatters the Kikoriki across different epochs, where they encounter dinosaurs from the Mesozoic era, Medieval knights, daredevil cowboys from the Wild West and inhabitants of ancient China. Their mission – to gather their friends and bring them back home. This third Kikoriki outing promises to be the most ambitious in terms of special effects, dramatic hooks and a rich musical palette.
The “Making of” featurette was produced by 4Screens, a Riki Group affiliate. The video includes interviews with the director, composers, and members of the English-language voice cast. In it, you can find out exclusive details of the production process not revealed, including tech solutions, new clips, stories behind the story and more surprises.
