The Annecy International Festival of Animated Film (June 11-16) will be presenting a world exclusive screening of a (non-finalized) version of Sony Pictures Animation’s summer sequel Hotel Transylvania 3. The sneak peek will be presented Wednesday, June 13 at 6 p.m. in the Bonlieu Grande Salle, attended by director Genndy Tartakovsky and producer Michelle Murdocca.
In HT3, the beloved monster family embarks on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
The screening will be followed by a party in Sony Pictures Animation’s honor with the talented teams behind HT3 and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Hotel Transylvania 3 will be released in France on July 25, 2018; it opens in the US on July 13.
