Squeeze, the Québécois studio behind slapstick hit Cracké, will present its three most recent original creations — Cracké: Jr. Unshelled, Cracké: Family Scramble and JAX — to the international market during MIPCOM. Distributed in more than 210 countries and territories, and viewed over 160 million times online, the Cracké series is growing with brand new adventures for children ages 5 to 9.
The misadventures of daddy ostrich Ed continue in Family Scramble (52 x 7’). By offering longer episodes, Squeeze can tell touching yet hilarious stories around family life and the many challenges of an inexperienced single parent. These new Cracké series masterfully exploit the slapstick humor and quality visual signature of the original global hit.
Jr. Unshelled (52 x 3’) introduces Junior, the first baby of the egg brood to hatch. Unfortunately for Daddy Ed, the hyperactive and ever curious Junior has no intention of staying out of harm’s way. He just wants to discover the world, and brings the rest of the hatchlings into the most perilous of situations… Ed will do everything to save them, but will lose a few feathers along the way!
Jax, on the other hand, ventures into a whole other world. An action-adventure series of 26 x 22’ episodes aimed at kids 8-12, Jax opens up a world of mystery and titillating events, studded with humor and unforgettable moments. An ordinary-seeming young teen with extraordinary powers, Jax takes viewers into a bigger-than-life world where the real and the fantastic live side-by-side. This world has existed without our knowledge for centuries and will now be the backdrop to new epic battles.
