VIZ Puts ‘Megalo Box’ in the Streaming Ring

VIZ Media announces that the complete 13-episode Megalo Box anime series is available to stream with English subtitles on viz.com. The series is also available via VIZ partners VUDU, Tubi TV and Hulu, and airs Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. EST/PST on PlutoTV, with a two-hour block on weekends.

Megalo Box reboots the classic manga published by Kodansha, Tomorrow’s Joe by Ikki Kajiwara, the widely acclaimed story of an orphan who becomes a champion boxer! A young man with no origin and known only by his ring name, “JNK.DOG,” survives by fighting in rigged, underground matches featuring a form of powered exoskeleton fighting. JD is bored, resigned and unfulfilled — until the day he encounters Yuri, the reigning official champion of Megalo Box!

The series is produced by TMS Entertainment’s 3xCube.
