Animation studio and rights holder Factory Rights and leading U.K. pet retailer Pets at Home have teamed up to launch a content marketing campaign featuring Rupert Fawcett’s animal cartoon properties Off The Leash and On The Prowl. Factor will create a series of bespoke animated video for Pets at Home’s social channels, aimed at raising awareness of pet-related issues and celebrating pets as part of the family.
Most recently, an episode of Off The Leash titled “Bonfire Night” premiered on the Pets at Home Facebook page, and has reached 432,000 viewers so far. The partnership was developed following the successful launch on the page of another Off The Leash adventure, “The Weigh In,” which reached more than 12 million views in just 10 days earlier this year.
Pets at Home will also run a series of competitions to win branded merchandise and share Off The Leash and On The Prowl content regularly across social and print platforms, including its VIP Newsletter an VIP Magazine, which featured an interview with Fawcett in its summer edition to the delight of readers. In addition to the bespoke content, the partnership will see Pets at Home make use of existing Off The Leash and On The Prowl cartoons and videos.
“We are so excited to be launching new content for Off The Leash and On The Prowl with our good friends Pets at Home,” commented Anya Hollis, Head of Marketing & Brands for Factory Rights. “Both brands are incredibly popular and we could not think of a more perfect partner than the U.K.’s biggest pet retailer to showcase even more of Rupert’s incredibly humorous and insightful work!”
Rupert Fawcett’s Off The Leash and On The Prowl brands boast a million total followers on Facebook and millions of animated video views across all social platforms; the popular dog and cat-themed brands continue to grow around the globe.
