Planeta Junior Introduces New Multi-Territory Cluster

Children and youth entertainment company Planeta Junior has created a new sales cluster that groups its French, Portuguese and Spanish operations together. This recent change is designed to develop new strategies and optimize business opportunities in the region.

This new organization address current market needs and trends that require an increasingly global approach to entertainment properties in order to connect European consumers. This development is particularly relevant for Planeta Junior in 2019 as it is set to launch universal properties including PuccaGormitiSquish and Snackworld.

The Spanish structure will support the cluster to reinforce regional content, licensing, marketing and retail strategies, which will also allow the new structure to rely on the new digital retail department. The cluster will benefit from a dedicated sales and marketing team, which will also solve specific French delegation needs.

Antonella Ceraso will manage the new cluster and continue to achieve optimum results, in line with her success in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. She will continue to be responsible for these markets as part of her new role. Olivier Salomon will continue in his position as country manager at the French delegation. The cluster will report directly to Diego Ibáñez, International Commercial Director at Planeta Junior.

This new delegation is part of Planeta Junior’s focus on France, where it has created recent relationships with first companies such as ZAG Animation (Miraculous Ladybug, Power Players), Method Animation (Playmobil: the Movie) and Cottonwood Media (Squish, Find Me in Paris).
