Jack de Mello Dead: Hawaiian Music Advocate, Animation Composer was 102
The composer, arranger, producer and recording artist (nearly 160 albums) composed for Hanna-Barbera classics like The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Born in Oakland, CA, de Mello died Saturday in Las Vegas, and is survived by his wife Ilse, son Jon and granddaughter Kamokila.
