Superights has inked a distribution deal with Swiss independent producer Nadasdy Films for the TV, VOD and home video rights to two fresh children’s titles: TV special Zibilla and preschool series Ralph and the Dinosaurs. Superights will introduce the projects at MIPTV (April 8-11).
Zibilla is a 26-minute special about a little zebra’s arrival at a new school, where she meets an unusual lion and finds herself on an extraordinary adventure. This special, which highlights themes of friendship and tenderness, joins Superights’ TV specials collection of 12 titles, including The Horn Quartet (2 x 26’) produced by Vivement Lundi, The Genie of the Seas (1 x 26’) produced by Le Regard Sonore, The Scent of Carrot (1 x 26’) produced by Les Films du Nord.
The edutainment series Ralph and the Dinosaurs (26 x 5’) follows the adventures of Ralph the dog through the world of dinosaurs, as he explains the differences between the dino species and their ways of life in a fun, kid-friendly way.
“What a pleasure to welcome these new heroes in our catalogue! With their different styles, they perfectly fulfill Superights line-up,” said Nathalie Pinguet, Superights’ Deputy General Manager.
“We are very happy to start a collaboration with a company as dynamic as Superights! We are convinced that these productions will be able to enchant a larger public,” said Nicolas Burlet, founder of Nadasdy Films.
