First Look: Return to Netflix’s Rainbow Kingdom in ‘True Tunes’

The charming, cheerful and color-loving heroes of Netflix Original series True and the Rainbow Kingdom are returning to the platform on July 12 in True: Tunes — a collection of eight original tracks putting a True-ly fresh take on classic children’s songs. From “The Wheels on the Rainbow Bus” to “Zee Zee My Playmate,” each song is sure to brighten the day for kids and families.

The launch of True: Tunes follows the successful spring debut of new episodes in True: Mushroom Town and Valentine’s Day 2019 special True: Happy Hearts Day. More adventures in the Rainbow Kingdom will arrive on Netflix throughout 2019 and 2020, including new episodes, more seasonal specials and a mix of comedict shorts and songs.

Guru is also gearing up for the launch of more licensed True products this fall across North America, including plush, Halloween costumes and storybooks. Toy State is master toy partner for True and the Rainbow Kingdom, Chouette is master publishing partner.

True and the Rainbow Kingdom is a Netflix Original series produced by Guru Studio (PAW Patrol, Abby Hatcher, Justin Time, The Breadwinner), based on the artwork of fine art collective FriendsWithYou, in collaboration with Home Plate Entertainment and Pharrell Williams’ i am OTHER label.
