Italian children’s animation and content company Atlantyca is bringing a fully completed episode of its inventive new animated series Berry Bees to the MipJunior and MIPCOM market this week. The 52 x 11-minute spy action-comedy show, which is a co-pro with Australia’s SLR Productions, Ireland’s Telegael as well as Singapore and India’s Cosmos-Maya, is set to premiere in Australia on Oct. 5 on NINE Network’s 9GO, with Rai planning a Christmas launch in Italy.
Produced in participation of Rai Ragazzi and Nine, Berry Bees follows the adventures of three ordinary 10-year-old girls who are chosen by the B.I.A. (Bee Intelligence Agency) to fight international villains with their special skills and fantastic berry-themed gadgets to save the day.
Distribution is being shared with worldwide rights being handled by Atlantyca Entertainment with Cosmos-Maya handling distribution across Asia, SLR Productions handling distribution for Australia as well as New Zealand and Telegael distributing in Ireland and UK.
