Netflix has announced a November 22 launch date for Dino Girl Gauko, a new original series from Crayon Shin-chan creator Akira Shigino. New artwork from the 20 x 7’ kids’ comedy animation have also been unveiled.
Set in Japan, Dino Girl Gauko centers on Naoko Watanabe — a typical 14-year old with the small exception of a unique gift and curse. When her anger exceeds a maximum level, she transforms into Gauko: a fire-breathing dinosaur girl!
The series is produced by Hitoshi Mogi (Crayon Shin-chan, Hare+Guu, 21 Emon).
