Global streamer Netflix is offering fans of its hit animated and live-action genre originals a chance to engage with their favorite titles and most-anticipated premieres with the inaugural Geeked Week, taking place June 7-11 across @NetflixGeeked social channels — the home for all things genre entertainment.
Over the years, Netflix has inspired loyal followings for series and films like Stranger Things, Castlevania, The Old Guard and many more. But these fandoms aren’t just about making GIFs, buying merch or theorizing about the next big twist. They’re about sharing excitement and connecting with people from all over the world who hold the same passion for those characters and stories.
Geeked Week will give fans a wide array of exclusive news, new trailers, live art, drop-ins from favorite stars and much mores. The five-day event is completely virtual and completely free to attend from anywhere in the world, any time.
Animation highlights of the debut event will include Masters of the Universe: Revelation and The Cuphead Show!, complemented by comic-book adaptations The Umbrella Academy, Lucifer, The Sandman and Sweet Tooth, plus Resident Evil, The Witcher, the live-action Cowboy Bebop reboot and more.
All the Geeked Week news, trailers, art, etc. will be published to GeekedWeek.com in addition to the Geeked social channels. The organizers will also be posting daily recaps of each day’s programming.
