WIA Spotlights Mentorship Program with Case Studies

Women in Animation (WIA) has just unveiled several case studies spotlighting Mentors and Mentees who have gone through the organization’s Mentorship Program over the years. Writer Jennifer Wolfe spoke in depth to four pairs of industry pros and talents on the rise to shed light on why this program is such an important initiative for WIA.

“The WIA Mentorship Program is really at the core of what WIA is about,” said Marge Dean, President of WIA. “We’re so proud of the tremendous success of this program and the many careers the program has supported and inspired over the years. We’ve received endless feedback from both mentees and mentors about how the program has had a profound impact on their lives.”

WIA Mentorship case studies:

Beside the new case studies, those interested in WIA’s work and looking for more insight on the current state of gender parity in the industry, diversity initiatives and more won’t want to miss the fifth Women in Animation World Summit, presented in conjunction with the 2021 Annecy Festival. The full program is now available to stream for free on the WIA website, here!
