Daffy and Porky are pulling a literal graveyard shift in the new sneak peek clip for “Bugs Bunny’s Howl-O-Skreem Spooktacula” — the new half-hour Looney Tunes Cartoons Halloween special streaming Thursday, September 29 on HBO Max.
The clip dug up today is for the short “Graveyard Goofs,” which follows Daffy (voiced by Eric Bauza) and Porky (Bob Bergen) down to the cemetery to take a dear friend to a final resting place.
The special will also feature the show’s first dedicated short featuring Witch Hazel (Candi Milo), titled “Hex Appeal” (which was sneak peeked at San Diego Comic-Con, watch here). Plus, Sylvester (Jeff Bergman) checks in to a suspicious motel, and Bugs (Bauza) meets a mummy!
From Warner Bros. Animation and starring the cherished Looney Tunes characters, Looney Tunes Cartoons echoes the high production value and process of the original theatrical shorts with a cartoonist-driven approach to storytelling. In this modern iteration, marquee characters are featured in their classic pairings in simple, gag-driven and visually vibrant stories.
Looney Tunes Cartoons is executive produced by Pete Browngardt (Uncle Grandpa) and Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!). The voice cast features Bauza (Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck/Tweety/Marvin the Martian), Bergen (Porky Pig), Bergman (Elmer Fudd/Sylvester), Fred Tatasciore (Yosemite Sam) and Candi Milo (Granny), Michael Ruocco (Beaky Buzzard).
